Craft 1. PaperPlate Sun

MATERIALS

Crepe paper or tissue paper

Red, orange, yellow paper plates

Paper Plate

Scissors

Gluestick

A Needle

INSTRUCTIONS

Paint the inside of the paper plate yellow. This is the body of the sun. While the paint is still wet get started with the rays. 

Cut strips of red, orange and yellow crepe paper so that each measures 1- by 2-inch. Glue the paper strips all along the edges to create sun rays. Make sure the heads of the strips jut out in the air.

When finished hang from the ceiling by making a hole at the center with the help of the needle.

Craft 2. FootPrint Fish Craft

MATERIALS

Paint

Paper

Paper Plate

Pan with warm sopy water

A little newspaper

A black marker

Towel

INSTRUCTIONS

Get your pan with warm soapy water ready before.

Then place newspaper on the floor with the paper on top. Put little paint in the paper plate, dip the child's foot into the paint.

Help the child to place his painted foot onto the paper, being carefull not to move it around.

Carefully remove the foot and place into pan of water, then dry with towel.

When footprint dries use marker to add fish lips, an eye, some gills, fins and a tail (use the toes for the tail).

You can even and scales if you like. Then you will have a fabulous "Footprint Fish"

All added to a simple chain makes a lovely, personal necklace for any mom or grandmother.
