Crosses
Easter is, first and foremost, a religious holiday, one of the most sacred days for Christians. Remember that fact by crafting some crosses this Easter season.
Materials

| A cross can be made of many different materials, from twigs gathered from the yard to craft sticks or popsicle sticks
|
Instructions

| If you have access to a selection of long but somewhat skinny twigs, you can make a large cross that would be great to hang by the door or over your fireplace. Just collect all the twigs and gather then together in two bundles.
|
| Cut them down to a uniform size if necessary (remember that the cross bar should be shorter than the vertical piece) and tie together with wire, grapevine or raffia.
|
| You could also make smaller versions of this craft for pins to wear to church (just glue a jewelry pin to the back), attached to a ribbon or raffia piece to make napkin rings or even used as part of your Easter card decorations
|
| For a craft stick cross, take two stick and glue them together in a cross shape. Decorate by gluing on beads or glitter or write or draw on the sticks with markers if you like.

A Bunny Pin
Materials
|
| A round, flat piece of wood
|
| Two large teardrops (or pieces with rounded edges)
|
| Two smaller teardrops
|
Instructions

| Paint the round piece and the two larger teardrops white and the smaller teardrops pink.
|
| Use wood clue or craft glue to attach the pink parts of the ears to the white parts of the ears, and the ears to the head.
|
| Add eyes, a puffball for a nose, and draw on a mouth.
|
| Attach a pin to the back and you’ll have a very cute bunny pin to wear all spring long.
|
| You could also make this craft and attach it to the side of a plain wicker basket to make a cute country Easter basket.

Easter Bags
If you’re looking for something a little more interesting than the traditional Easter basket, why not have your kids decorate their own little Easter goodie bags?
Materials
|
| You can buy plain gift bags or treat bags or boxes at your local craft store (either plain white or some pastel color).
|
Instructions

| Provide the kids with Easter stickers, foam or plastic cutouts in Easter or spring shapes, buttons, glitter, rick-rack, ribbons, and anything else you can think of that might be fun to use on an Easter “basket.”
|
| Put a little Easter grass or raffia in the bottom to cushion the goodies and you’ll be on your way!

Fair-For-All Easter Egg Hunt
Make sure your easter egg hunt doesn't result in one or two kids finding most of the eggs (to the utter devastation of the little ones).
To overcome this problem, have different colored eggs for each child.
Instructions

| Write a number on each egg to let them know how many of that colored egg are hidden for them to find.
|
| Each child must return to homebase (you) after they find each egg. This will help you keep count of the eggs that the little ones collect.
|
| Before the start of the race, place a different colored egg in each basket and tell the kids that this is the only color they're supposed to hunt for. .The first child to find all THEIR eggs wins a special prize.
|
| The prizes can be anything from chocolate easter eggs or bunnies, to easter baskets, or even money.

More Than Easter Bunnies
More than Easter bunnies
And chocolate eggs galore
Is the cross of Calvary
The sacrifice of our Lord
For Jesus is the reason
We all can celebrate
And come to Him to freely receive
His love and saving grace
