Mother's Day Chocolate Chip Lip Gloss
Ingredients:
| 3 tablespoons full of cocoa butter |
| 5 chocolate chips |
| Contents of 1 capsule Vitamin E |
Instructions
| Mix together 3 tablespoons cocoa butter, 5 chocolate chips, contents of 1 capsule Vitamin E (prick capsule with a needle and squeeze out the oil) |
| Melt over low heat; mix until well blended. |
| Put into a container and chill until firm. |
Mother's Day Bath Salts
Instructions
| If mom has a bathtub, make her some relaxing bath salts. |
| Combine two cups of Epsom salt with one cut of sea salt in a large glass bowl. |
| Add ¼ teaspoon glycerin (available at grocery stores in the pharmacy or at natural foods stores), a few drops of food coloring (don’t make it too dark or it will stain the tub) and four or five drops of essential oil (also available at natural foods stores). |
| Lavender is a great choice, but rose, orange, vanilla, or any other scent your mother likes are good choices. |
| Put the salts in a jar with a cork or screw-on lid (it’s important to keep moisture out or the salts will get clumpy). |
| Add a little tag with the recipe printed on it and an instruction to use 1/3 to ½ a cup in each bath.

Mother's Day Gift Basket
Make mom a basket which you've decorated yourself and fill it with stuff. Use your imagination to come up with ideas for things you're mom would enjoy.
Some Ideas could be:
| Miniature chocolate bars, wrapped pieces of homemade fudge, brownies, etc., miniature cookies (either homemade or storebought), a coffee mug filled with cocoa, instant coffee or tea bags. Buy or use an old coffee mug and decorate it yourself any way you'd like. |
| Bath products such as bubble bath, bath oil beads, a small loofah, body lotion, small scented candle to set a relaxing mood, a fancy towel and dishcloth, small bottle of shampoo, fancy soap, a "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang on the doorknob, etc. |
| Her favorite video or a gift certificate to rent a video, or a gift certificate for a movie, Microwave popcorn, a few cans of her favorite pop, licorice twists, M&Ms or her favorite candies or chocolate bars. |
| Envelopes (stick on the stamps for mom), writing paper, all-purpose greeting cards, pens, calendar, address book, etc. |
| Jigsaw puzzle, Book of crosswords and/or word search, deck of cards, joke book, etc. |
| Assorted kinds of cookies (either homemade or store-bought). |
